Our History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hapman\u2019s legacy began with our founder Henry Hapman\u2019s innovative vision and his guiding principle of \u201cIdeas That Move.\u201d In 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Henry Hapman invented the Tubular Drag Conveyor. Drawing from his mechanical engineering expertise and industrial manufacturing experience, he developed the concept of a totally enclosed, multi-plane conveyor to address a critical need: efficiently moving materials across complex, non-linear paths within manufacturing facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As World War II came to an end, Henry foresaw a shift in industrial focus from government contracts to consumer-driven manufacturing. The Tubular Drag Conveyor was his solution to streamline material handling across production plants, offering flexible inlet and discharge points to support evolving industrial demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henry Hapman\u2019s groundbreaking innovation forever transformed the way dry materials are moved in industrial production facilities. While others have attempted to replicate our Tubular Drag Conveyor, none have matched the quality, performance, and reliability that define our designs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2012, Hapman expanded its global presence by establishing its European headquarters. This facility designs, manufactures, and sells Hapman-branded machinery and equipment across the European and Middle Eastern markets.
