Other finish acceptable if subsequent polishing performed.<\/li>\n<li>Plate &#8211; polished to uniform finish.<\/li>\n<li>Structural shapes &#8211; polished to uniform finish.<\/li>\n<li>Grain direction to be indiscriminate unless otherwise noted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Stainless Steel weld specification:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous TIG weld inside and outside joints unless otherwise noted.<\/li>\n<li>Free of cracks, spatter, scratches, heat tint and discoloration.<\/li>\n<li>When finished, all welds will be flush and blended with base metal surrounding the weld, free of crevices.<\/li>\n<li>Inside corners, the weld will be radiused &amp; blended into base metal min of 3\/16\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Polishing and weld finishing to 29-40 RA finish using 150-240 abrasive, 7447 scotch-brite or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Bead blast and\/or electropolish acceptable in place of other mechanical polishing.<\/li>\n<li>Use dedicated stainless steel tooling to prevent cross contamination with carbon steel materials.<\/li>\n<li>Passivation of all surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n              <div class=\"column\">\n          \n                      <div class=\"image-wrap\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/hapman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/40-110-Hapman-Dairy-Finish.png')\">\n            <\/div>\n          \n          <div class=\"content-wrap\">\n            <h2>40-110 Hapman Dairy Finish<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Material specification:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>304\/304L and 316\/316L dual certified stainless steel.<\/li>\n<li>Sheet (up to 7GA) and tube &#8211; #4 brushed finish. 2B exceeding #4 finish is acceptable in select areas.
